We don't retrofit AI into your stack. We architect it from the foundation.

iFlux builds production AI systems: software that lets an AI safely search your company's own data, catch its own mistakes before a customer sees them, and keep working reliably once thousands of real users show up — not just a demo that worked once in a meeting.

_what we engineer

/01

AI System Architecture

Designing the foundation, not just the feature. The decisions made here determine everything that follows.

/02

LLM Integration & Fine-tuning

The right model for the right problem, not the trending one. We match model shape to problem shape.

/03

RAG Systems & Knowledge Engineering

RAG (retrieval-augmented generation): your private data, made intelligent. AI that reasons over your documents, not just the internet.

/04

AI Agents, Chatbots & Automation

Autonomous workflows that survive contact with production. Not demos that break on the second question.

/05

Generative AI Products

From prototype to production-grade. Without the vibe-coding. Without the technical debt that arrives three months later.

/06

AI-Powered Testing & QA

Intelligent test generation, anomaly detection, and regression coverage, faster than any manual cycle.

/07

Data Foundation for AI

Garbage in, confident garbage out. We fix the data layer before we build the AI layer. Always.

/08

AI Observability & Monitoring

Models drift. Outputs degrade. Hallucinations compound silently. We watch the system so you don't have to discover the problem in production.

/09

AI Audits & Second Opinions

For teams who shipped fast and need someone honest. We'll tell you what's working, what's fragile, and what to fix first.

Everyone has an AI strategy.
Very few have an AI foundation.

// we build the foundation first. the strategy follows.

_things we'll tell you that others won't

// right model. right task.

The biggest model is rarely the right model.

GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, Llama: each has a shape. Your problem has a shape. Our job is matching them precisely. Not defaulting to whatever's trending or most expensive.

// ai gets things wrong

Plan for hallucinations. Not around them.

Hallucinations aren't bugs to be fixed. They're properties to be managed. Every system we build has human checkpoints, confidence thresholds, and fallback logic. Because production is not a demo.

// data is the real product

Your data quality determines your AI quality.

Most AI projects fail in the data layer, not the model layer. Garbage in, confident garbage out. We fix the foundation before we build the house, not after the roof collapses.

// still maturing

Sometimes the honest answer is: wait.

AI is a fast-moving space. Not every problem has a mature solution yet. We'd rather tell you that clearly now than build something fragile and call it innovative. Trust is worth more than the invoice.

_how we start

iflux: ai_readiness_check.sh
~/iflux/AI-Engineering $ diagnose --client=you --assumptions=false
→ Scanning data quality foundation...
⚠ Most projects fail here. Checking yours.
→ Evaluating model fit vs. problem shape...
→ Reviewing existing architecture for AI readiness...
⚠ Detected: GPT wrapper dressed as AI product. Flagging.
→ Identifying human checkpoint requirements...
→ Checking production vs. demo gap...
✓ Diagnosis complete. Honest report ready.
→ Recommendation: build from the foundation. Not from the feature.

_why iFlux for AI

// precision over hype

We don't chase models. We engineer systems.

The AI landscape changes weekly. Our engineering principles don't. We build systems that outlast the model they run on today.

// embedded from day one

We sit on your side of the wall.

We're not a vendor who disappears after the demo. We embed in your team, understand your domain, and own the outcome alongside you.

// full stack AI

Data. Model. System. Production. We do all of it.

Most AI vendors stop at the model layer. We start at the data layer and don't stop until the system is running, monitored, and trusted in production.

// honest partners

We'll tell you when not to use AI.

Not every problem needs AI. Sometimes a well-engineered rule-based system is faster, cheaper, and more reliable. We'll tell you which one you actually need.

_frequently asked

What is RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) and do we need it?

RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) is a technique where the AI looks up your actual documents, database, or knowledge base before it answers, instead of relying only on what it was trained on. You need it whenever the system must reason over your private data — support tickets, contracts, internal wikis — rather than general internet knowledge. We treat it as a knowledge engineering problem, not a plugin.

How do you stop an AI system from hallucinating in production?

A hallucination is when an AI states something false with full confidence. We don't try to eliminate them entirely, because that isn't realistic; we manage them. Every system we build includes human checkpoints on high-stakes decisions, confidence thresholds that trigger a fallback, and monitoring that flags degraded output before a customer notices it in production.

Which LLM (large language model) should we use — GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, or Llama?

There is no single best large language model (LLM). Each has a distinct shape in cost, reasoning style, latency, and context length, and your problem has its own shape too. We match the model to the task rather than defaulting to whichever is trending, then re-evaluate that choice as models change, since the landscape shifts weekly.

Should we build a custom AI system or buy an off-the-shelf tool?

It depends on whether the AI capability is core to your product or a supporting utility. Off-the-shelf tools work for generic tasks; a custom system is worth building when your data, workflow, or competitive edge is unique. We'll tell you honestly if a well-engineered rule-based system, not AI at all, is actually the faster and more reliable answer.

How do you monitor an AI system once it's live?

Models drift and outputs degrade quietly, often without an obvious error to alert on. We instrument AI systems the way we instrument any production service: tracking output quality, confidence scores, and drift over time, with alerts before a silent failure reaches a customer. Observability is built in from the start, not added after the first incident.

Do you work with startups and enterprises outside the US, such as in the UK, Australia, or UAE?

Yes. iFlux is a forward-deployed engineering studio, which means the engagement model is built around embedding with your team wherever it is, not around a single office location. We architect for each market's compliance and data-residency expectations, whether that's UK GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles, or UAE federal data protection law, rather than shipping a one-size-fits-all US build and hoping it clears review elsewhere.

Building something with AI?
Let's start with the honest conversation.

// No hype. No magic promises.
// Just a real look at your problem, and whether AI is the right answer.
// If it is, we'll build it properly.
