Terms of service
The ground rules for using this site and working with us. Written to be read: short sections, plain language, and a green summary line on each so you don't need a lawyer to follow along.
01
The agreement
By using iflux.in or engaging us, you accept these terms. Where we sign a separate statement of work or contract with you, that document governs the engagement and takes precedence over anything here.
// this page is the default; your contract is the truth.
02
What we do
iFlux provides software engineering, AI and data services. The site itself is informational. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a guarantee of outcomes, or professional advice you should act on without talking to us first.
// the website is a brochure, not a contract.
03
Engagements & fees
Scope, timelines, fees and payment terms are set out in each statement of work. Invoices are due as agreed there. Estimates are made in good faith; if scope changes materially, we'll flag it and re-agree before doing the extra work, never after.
// no surprise invoices. we talk first.
04
Intellectual property
On full payment, work products we build specifically for you are yours, as detailed in your contract. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, frameworks and know-how, and grant you a licence to use them within the delivered work. The iFlux name and site content remain ours.
// you own what we build for you; we keep our toolbox.
05
Your responsibilities
Use the site lawfully: don't attempt to break, scrape at scale, or misuse it. In an engagement, give us timely access, accurate information and the decisions we need to keep moving. Good work needs a working relationship on both sides.
// meet us halfway and the work moves faster.
06
Confidentiality
What you share with us stays with us, and vice versa. Each side protects the other's confidential information and uses it only for the engagement. This survives the end of our work together.
// what's said in the room stays in the room.
07
Warranties & disclaimers
We deliver our services with professional skill and care. Beyond what your contract states and what the law requires, the site and its content are provided “as is” without further warranties. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
// we do careful work; we don't promise magic.
08
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability under an engagement is capped at the fees paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
// the standard, fair cap, spelled out plainly.
09
Termination
Either side can end an engagement on the notice set out in the contract. On termination you pay for work done up to that point, and we'll hand over what's yours. Confidentiality, IP and liability terms live on afterwards.
// clean exits. you keep what you paid for.
10
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your engagement contract, and any disputes are handled there. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
11
Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date shows when. For questions about anything on this page, talk to a Flux directly.
