We don't parachute into industries. We've been living in them.

// every Flux brings domain depth,
// not just technical breadth.
The difference matters when the problem is industry-specific.

_industries we know

/01

FinTech

Regulatory pressure, real-time data demands, and zero tolerance for downtime — all in the same system. Most engineering teams pick two. We build for all three.

// audit trails. compliance boundaries.
// transaction volumes that break ordinary architectures.
// we build for all of it.

/02

HealthTech

HIPAA, HL7, FHIR — the alphabet of constraints that slows most engineering teams to a crawl. The compliance layer feels like it's designed to stop you from building.

// we build systems that move fast
// inside the compliance boundary.
// not around it.

/03

Manufacturing

Legacy systems that nobody wants to touch, sitting at the centre of operations nobody can afford to disrupt. The risk of changing them feels higher than the cost of keeping them.

// we understand what the old system
// was actually doing — before we
// build something better that does it too.

/04

Enterprise

Thousands of users, dozens of integrations, a security team with veto power, and a procurement cycle that outlasts most project timelines. Speed dies here — unless you've built for it.

// we build for the approval process,
// the IT governance layer, and the
// end user. not just one of them.

/05

Real Estate

Data fragmented across MLS systems, proptech APIs, and legacy CRMs that were never designed to talk to each other. Decisions get made on whoever exported a spreadsheet last.

// we connect the data layer so
// decisions get made on truth —
// not on the last export.

/06

Supply Chain

Visibility gaps, vendor dependencies, and the kind of cascading failures that one global disruption makes catastrophic. Most systems show you what happened. Rarely what's about to.

// we build for resilience — systems
// that degrade gracefully when the
// thing you didn't plan for happens anyway.

/07

Retail

Inventory that disagrees between the shelf and the screen, a POS system that doesn't talk to the storefront, and peak-season traffic that arrives once a year and breaks everything anyway.

// we build for inventory truth,
// omnichannel fulfillment, and the
// peak season your systems can't skip.

/08

Startups

Ship fast without building the technical debt that kills you at Series B. The architecture decisions you make at 10 users are the ones you live with — or pay to undo — at 100,000.

// we build foundations that scale.
// so the decision you make today
// isn't the one you regret next year.

_what every
engagement
looks like

Regardless of industry, every iFlux engagement starts the same way.

A Flux who learns your domain before they touch your codebase.

Not a template applied to your problem. A method applied to your specific one. We ask the questions most teams skip — because the right solution to the wrong problem is still the wrong solution.

Your industry has its own language. Its own constraints. Its own failure modes that only someone who has worked inside it would know to look for. We look for those first.

// we don't parachute in.
// we embed.
// the difference is everything.

The right solution to the wrong problem is still the wrong solution.

// industry depth isn't a nice-to-have.
// it's the thing that determines whether
// we solve the actual problem — or the visible one.

_frequently asked

Which industries does iFlux build for?

FinTech, HealthTech, Manufacturing, Enterprise, Real Estate, Supply Chain, Retail, and Startups. Each has its own dedicated page covering the regulations, systems, and failure modes specific to that industry, built from engagements we've actually shipped, not a generic template applied eight times.

Do you only work with large enterprises, or startups too?

Both. The Enterprise page covers the governance, security review, and procurement realities of a large organization; the Startups page covers moving fast without building technical debt that catches up with you at Series B. The engineering discipline is the same either way. The constraints you're building under are different.

Why does industry-specific experience matter for a software project?

Because the right solution to the wrong problem is still the wrong solution. Every industry has its own language, its own constraints, and its own failure modes that only someone who has worked inside it would know to look for. A team that learns your domain after you've hired them is learning on your budget.

Do you already know the compliance rules for my industry?

Usually, yes. Across these eight industries we've built to HIPAA and GDPR for HealthTech, PCI-DSS and AML/KYC for FinTech, ISA-95 for Manufacturing, SOC 2 for Enterprise, RESO for Real Estate, and PCI-DSS with EDI/GS1 standards for Retail, among others. If your compliance framework isn't one we've already built against, we'll tell you that honestly before we start.

My business doesn't fit neatly into one of these eight industries. Can iFlux still help?

Likely. These eight pages describe where we have the deepest, most specific experience, not the limit of what we build. If your problem doesn't map cleanly to one of them, tell us about it directly and we'll say honestly whether we're the right team.

Your industry has specific problems.
Your solution should be too.

// tell us your world.
// we'll tell you honestly whether
// we're the right people to solve it.
