_frequently asked

Who writes the Thinking posts?

The engineers at iFlux who did the work: we call them Fluxes. There are no ghostwriters and no marketing team rewriting an engineer's notes into something blander. If a post reads like an opinion, it's because it is one.

What topics does Thinking cover?

Production AI and retrieval, latency and performance, QA and test automation, and data pipelines: the same disciplines covered on the service pages, but written as engineering notes rather than sales copy.

How often is Thinking updated?

New entries go up when a Flux ships something worth writing about, not on a fixed publishing schedule. Check dateModified on any post for how current it is.

Can I respond to or challenge something in a post?

Yes, that's the point of the closing line on every post. Reach out through the contact page and you'll get a reply from the person who wrote it, not a support queue.

Are client details in these posts anonymized, like the Work case studies?

Yes. Specific client names and identifying details are generalized the same way they are on the Work page, but the technical substance, numbers, and lessons are real.

// disagree with any of it? good. tell us why.
